My View: This thrilling tale is a step forward in the danger of Harry Potter. Harry is still confined mostly to the safer realms of the school and he has protectors and friends that he can count on so that he doesn't have to work alone. That changes in futre books, but this book solidifies the trio and makes a good read. For the first time, Harry dares to break the rules, but he saves innocent lives in the process so I'm not complaining. Honestly, this book is some filler on a series-wide scale, but it brings forth some Voldemort secrets so it advances the plot a little. Harry never confronts He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named here, but meets some other more shady characters. Alliances are made and broken, and readers decide what teams they are on.
