My View: It's gotten plenty of awards, and it's obvious why. It's got all of the greatness of The Secret Life of Bees and The Catcher in the Rye together for its unedited, simply told, brilliant writing. Child-like, but wise. Moving, especially at my point in life, but beautiful. I could re-read it a hundred times.

Nope. Which is kinda too bad because it could be an okay Beasts of the Southern Wild-style movie.
