The Hound of the Baskervilles

JJJJ
My View:   Kept me waiting until the end even though I spent a long time reading it. Holmes became more interesting (despite his absentness most of the novel) and Watson less so. The characters have never gone very deep and really need to be boosted (Robert Downey Jr. = Genius for pulling such depth out of Holmes). The end was a total shocker, but that just makes most of the book look pointless, unfortunately. Not one of Doyle's finest, but okay. Not re-read-worthy.
    General Information:
    Method of Reading:
iPod Touch Kindle app and Kindle (in The Sherlock Holmes Collection), 160 pages in paperback
    Dates of Reading:
    January 8, 2010-February 19, 2010
    Author:
    Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
    Publication Year:
    1902
    Recommended To:
Same as Study in Scarlet and Sign of the Four, but less highly recommended. Both of my siblings, by the way, had this as required reading in 7th grade. Neither of them liked it, but then again neither of them particularly likes reading anyway so they were probably at least slightly biased.
    Quotes:

    Movie?
    See A Study in Scarlet.
